About Gabi Gillessen and Root-to-Light

Gabi is the founder of Root-to-Light and qualified as a Yoga Teacher in 1997, with the Irish Yoga Association and qualified as an IYA Tutor in 2001. She also holds an Introductory Iyengar Yoga Teaching Certificate. Gabi is the Chairperson of the Irish Yoga Association and Senior Tutor for the Association, on the Deepening the Practice Courses, Teacher Training Courses and the Post Graduate Courses.

Root-to-Light Yoga Space was built and inaugurated in 2006. Gabi wanted a place of her own to teach yoga and run workshops, seminars and courses. The center has grown from strength to strength to become a focal point in the midlands for all things yoga related.
